Application Naphthol Blue Black stain is designed for rapid staining of protein bands on nitrocellulose membranes (Western blots).1 Blots are stained for 1 min and then destained for 30 minutes in 25% (v/v) isopropanol, 10% (v/v) acetic acid. Used to detect proteins in the lower microgram range with a clear background. Naphthol Blue Black can also be used for staining PAGE gels.2 Reconstitution After dilution with deionized water to a final volume of 500 ml, solution will contain 0.1% (w/v) amido black, 25% (v/v) isopropanol and 10% (v/v) acetic acid. |

Application Naphthol blue black dye can be used to stain proteins on polyacrylamide gels, agarose gels and nitrocellulose membranes. After electrophoresis, fixing the proteins in the gel is recommended. The gel can then be stained with 0.1% Naphthol Blue Black in 7% (v/v) acetic acid for at least 2 hr and destained with a soluion of 7% (v/v) acetic acid. Detection sensitivity is approx. 20% that of Coomassie Blue R. 包装 25, 100 g in glass bottle |
