Analysis Note
Tested for use in formaldehyde-agarose gel electrophoresis of RNA.
Application
Formaldehyde is used as a denaturant in formaldehyde-agarose gel electrophoresis of RNA. A gel concentration of 2.2 M formaldehyde is typically used. The formaldehyde concentration as supplied is approximately 13.3M.
