Biological Activity:
Puerarin (Kakonein) is a 5-HT2C receptor and benzodiazepine site antagonist. Puerarin (Kakonein) is one of several known isoflavones. Puerarin is found in a number of plants and herbs like the root of Pueraria (Radix puerariae) notably of the kudzu plant. Puerarin (Kakonein) is the 8-C-glucoside of daidzein. Puerarin (Kakonein) is being investigated as a self-microemulsifying agent delivery system. [1]
