Description (English)
Hydrolysis of the vitamin B6 antagonist linatine, produces the toxic compound,1-amino-D-proline. The compound possesses bacteriostatic effect toward A. vinelandii. The mechanism by which aminoproline exerts its toxic effects is unknown.
