Biochem/physiol Actions
A genotoxic carcinogen that is used to model liver carcinogenesis in rat. When N-hydroxylated by cytochrome CYP1A2 in the liver, 2-AAF forms adducts with DNA and is tumorigenic in liver and bladder.
