Application
Used in colorimetric determination of reducing sugars1,2 and to analyze glycosidase (glycoside hydrolase) activity by quantitation of enzymatically released reducing sugar. The dinitrosalicylic acid method has been compared to the Nelson-Somogi colorimetric method.3,4
