4-Hydroxy-3-methoxy Amphetamine is a metabolite of 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA). 4-Hydroxy-3-methoxy Amphetamine was significantly less potent than MDMA at inhibiting [3H]noradrenaline and [3H]5-HT transport in mammalian cell lines.
